- Advise the EFCA Board and Secretariat on communications issues
- Develop EFCA’s Communication Strategy and annual Communication Plan
- Support the implementation of the Plan
- Seek new opportunities, media contacts etc. to increase EFCA’s visibility, both internally and externally
- Periodically review and propose improvements to EFCA’s communication tools (website, extranet, publications,  brochure, general presentation material etc.)
- Provide content for EFCA’s publications (Voice, Bulletin, brochure, Members' Projects section of website etc.) and/or copy for articles to be submitted to external publications in the name of EFCA
