Young Professionals competition - last chance to enter! Closing date 12th April 2010

EFCA has launched a competition of engineering excellence for Young Professionals.  Enter now and have the chance to win an expenses-paid trip to the conference and General Assembly meeting in Rome this May.

Conditions of nomination
1. Age limit: 40 years;
2. Having the ambition to become a leader or owner in your professional career;
3. Having already produced something particularly interesting and valuable
- in your field of expertise, e.g. a novel design, and/or
- as professionals (managers), e.g. development of an environmental, innovative, sustainable, energy or cost-saving solution.
4. The nomination must be submitted by your national association, which is member of EFCA, and should contain information about the nominee, including a short Curriculum Vitae [CV].



Materials to be submitted
A presentation on maximum two A4 pages of the particular achievements of the candidate, with copies of the original work in annex, together with a letter of appreciation issued by the client, if available.

Deadline
The national associations must send the nominations to the EFCA secretariat by 12th April 2010.

The EFCA jury’s decision will be announced by 26th April 2010.

First Prize
The winner will be awarded with participation on 27-28 May 2010 at the EFCA Conference & General Assembly Meeting in Rome (including travel & accommodation expenses). A prize ceremony will take place during the General Assembly.

Honorary mention for two other candidates
Two other entries will be awarded with a support of 500 euros, to be used for participation in the event.
