On 19 January 2022, the EFCA Future Trends Committee Chair Jeffrey Seeck and Prof. Dr Torsten Wulf (HHL Center for Strategy and Scenario Planning, Leipzig) presented the tool that EFCA developed to help engineering consultancy firms in strategic decision-making in times of uncertainty and complexity.
Both speakers explained that the tool is based on a solid methodology and robust data. The first session concluded with a few recommendations to large firms, SMEs and professional associations.
The Q&A session gave the participants the opportunity to find out more about certain topics, such as opportunities that all four scenarios carry as well as the required changes in the approach of the industry and imperative drivers for the industry.
